Bluesky: @volts.wtf David Roberts · 32d ago · 46 ♥ It doesn't have to be this way -- if we removed permitting & interconnection barriers, it wouldn't be this way -- but *as it is*, the data center buildout in the US is driving an enormous expansion of gas generation, with all the concomitant carbon emissions.
