France lowers renewable curtailment threshold to 1 MW to manage negative prices
France will expand its ability to remotely shut down solar and wind plants during periods of negative electricity prices, lowering the capacity threshold from 10 MW to 1 MW starting December 2026 in response to grid oversupply.
